Directions
- 1. Clean and dry all surfaces with a residue-free solvent such as Permatex® Brake & Parts Cleaner.
- 2. Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size (1/16″ to 1/4″ recommended).
- 3. Apply a continuous, even bead of silicone to one surface, encircling all bolt holes.
- 4. Remove any excess silicone immediately with a knife.
- 5. Assemble parts immediately without over tightening to avoid squeezing out the silicone.
- 6. Silicone dries in 1 hour and fully cures in 24 hours under normal conditions (70°F and 50% humidity).
- 7. Replace the cap after use and clean up with non-flammable cleaning fluid or Permatex® Fast Orange® Hand Cleaner.
