Shapton Naoru Cast Iron Lapping System

Description

The Naoru Cast Iron Lapping system is used to flatten and restore the surface of Shapton waterstones. Wet the lapping plate and add lapping powder, then slide your waterstone back and forth over the plate.

Lapping Powder

Shapton lapping powder comes in three grits.

• Coarse – approximately 80 grit. Used for waterstones 120 grit to 320 grit. 190g Bottle.
• Medium – approximately 180 grit. Used for waterstones 500 grit to 3000 grit. 190g Bottle.
• Fine – approximately 4000 grit. Used for waterstones 4000 grit and higher. 100g Bottle. (Sold separately.)
