HOW TO USE:
- Removing from Packaging: Carefully remove the knife from its packaging. Be aware that the blade may be sharp.
- Familiarizing with Opening Methods:
Emerson Wave: With the knife in your pocket, grip the handle. As you draw the knife straight up and out of your pocket, the small wave-shaped tab on the blade’s spine will catch on the pocket seam, automatically opening the blade as it clears the pocket.
Thumb Disk: Alternatively, use your thumb to push up on the ambidextrous thumb disk located on the spine of the blade. Apply steady pressure to pivot the blade open until the frame lock engages. - Engaging the Lock: Ensure the frame lock has fully engaged once the blade is open. A portion of the stainless steel handle should visibly move behind the blade, preventing it from closing accidentally.
- Holding the Knife: Grip the textured G10 front scale and stainless steel back firmly. The design is intended to provide a secure and comfortable hold during use.
- Closing the Knife: With a firm grip on the handle, use your thumb to push the frame lock bar sideways, away from the blade’s tang. Once the lock is disengaged, carefully fold the blade back into the handle recess until it is fully closed. Keep fingers clear of the blade path.
- Carrying: Utilize the reversible pocket clip to carry the knife securely in your pocket. The tip-up orientation is designed to facilitate the Emerson Wave feature.
