HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2.062″ (52mm) diameter hole in your vehicle’s dashboard or instrument panel. Secure the gauge in place using the provided mounting hardware.
- Install the Temperature Sensor: Identify an appropriate location on your vehicle’s differential housing to install the Speedhut Temperature Sensor. Ensure the sensor is in direct contact with the differential fluid for accurate readings.
- Connect the Sensor Wiring: Connect the 2-wire cable from the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness to the terminals on the Speedhut Temperature Sensor.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the gauge. Typically, this involves connecting a power wire (often to a switched 12V source), a ground wire, and an optional illumination wire (to a headlight or parking light circuit).
- Connect the Temperature Signal Wire: Connect the other end of the 2-wire Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness to the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge.
- Test the Gauge: Once all connections are made, turn on your vehicle’s ignition to power the gauge and observe the temperature reading. Ensure the illumination works correctly when the lights are turned on.
