HOW TO USE:
- Prepare Your Setup: Ensure you have a high-pressure water source (70 psi or above recommended) and a compatible high-flow hose. Attach your preferred pistol grip or firefighter grip valve (sold separately, models SV or SVPG) to the end of your hose.
- Attach the Nozzle: Screw the 3/4″ FHT inlet of the Underhill UltraMAX Turbo Shift Nozzle securely onto the outlet of your pistol grip or firefighter grip valve. Hand-tighten until snug, ensuring no leaks.
- Adjust Flow and Spray Pattern:
- Initiate Flow: Gently activate the ball valve on your grip to begin water flow. The nozzle will initially operate in the 12-17 GPM range, providing a light fog or low-volume jet stream.
- Change Spray Pattern: Rotate the nozzle head to select your desired spray pattern: Fog for gentle coverage, Jet Stream for concentrated power, or Fan for broader coverage.
- Engage Turbo Shift (High Flow): To access the higher flow range (20-43 GPM), adjust the nozzle’s setting, which will “turbo shift” the water output to a significantly higher volume. This is typically achieved by a specific rotation or adjustment on the nozzle’s collar.
- Control Water Flow: Use the push-pull on/off control handle on your attached grip valve to precisely manage the water flow. Push forward to start flow and pull back to shut it off completely.
- Store After Use: After completing your task, shut off the water supply at the source, drain any remaining water from the hose, and store the nozzle and grip in a clean, dry place to maintain their condition.
