T28967 3/8″ x 6″ HSS Square Tool Bit

Usually used on metal lathes, the T28967 tool bits can also be ground down and used for engraving in metal.

Our ground tool bits are M-2 HSS with 5% cobalt, making them some of the most durable tool bits around.

HSS (high-speed steel) has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance, which keeps a sharp edge longer than other carbon steels.
