Description
Hock chipbreakers (also called cap irons or back irons) are .118″ thick (almost twice as thick as standard chipbreakers) and slightly sprung to make tight contact with the back of the blade. This point of contact is accurately machined and polished for the best possible fit.Includes a 5/16″ long knurled cap screw to fit thicker after-market irons.

- 1-3/4″ (BK113-Older) chipbreaker fits older #113 Circular Planes
There are two styles of the #113 circular/compass planes — old and older. The old ones have the blade adjuster in front of the tote, similar to a standard bench plane. On the older ones the adjuster is a wheel on the side of the plane.
