Hirsch Scorp – 3 inch
Scorps are used for large scale material removal on hollow workpieces, like chair seats or bowls. This scorp is good for projects with small radius inside corners like bowls (It has the smallest radius of any hewing scorp we carry.)
The Hirsch scorp is hand-forged in Germany. The tang extends through the full length of the handle for strength. The edge is ground, but will require additional sharpening and honing for optimum performance.
