Description
Fixed Chemical injectors have been developed to allow downstream injection of chemicals. Downstream refers to ‘after the pump and unloader’ where the injector creates a Venturi effect (vacuum through the chemical hose) when used in conjunction with a low-pressure nozzle. Our Italian made, High-draw commercial injectors allow up to a 20% draw rate.
You may size your chemical injector using the GPM chart below, but keep in mind that chemical draw will typically increase when using an injector with a smaller orifice. The tradeoff for using a smaller orifice is a reduction in PSI. Many “soft washers” use small orifice injectors to allow for stronger chemical percentages, as well as the ability to facilitate longer runs of hose.
- 1.6 orifice: 2.1 to 3.2gpm
- 1.8 orifice: 3.2 to 4.2gpm
- 2.1 orifice: 4.2 to 5.5gpm
- 2.3 orifice: 5.5 to 6.6gpm
This model is a Fixed version with Stainless Steel ball and seat.
