Description
Snappy’s iCARB countersinks are perfect for any woodworker who drills a lot of countersunk holes for screws. Instead of ordinary tool steel for the countersink cutter, iCARB bits use replaceablecarbideinserts.The inserts last much longer than standard tool steel – even in the most difficult, abrasive woods. In addition, the insert can berotated 180° to use a fresh carbide edge – doubling tool life. When both edges eventually dull, you can replace them for muchless than the cost of a new bit.
To control the depth, we recommend a stop collar (not included). Snappy’sstandard 3/8″ stop collarwill do the job, but you get the best results with thePremium Rotating Depth Stop.
