HOW TO USE:

• Drill Test Holes: Drill holes into the concrete slab according to the ASTM F2170 standard, ensuring the correct depth based on the slab thickness.
• Insert Smart Sensors: Place the Rapid RH® L6 Smart Sensors into the drilled holes. Use extensions if necessary for deeper slabs.
• Seal the Holes: Cover the holes with the provided protective caps, ensuring a tight seal with the rubber plugs and butyl gasket to isolate the environment within the hole.
• Conditioning Period: Allow the sensors to condition within the concrete for the time specified in the ASTM F2170 standard (typically 24 hours).
• Take Readings:
  • Turn on the Total Reader.
  • Open the DataMaster™ L6 app on your Bluetooth-enabled device.
  • Place the Total Reader in contact with a Smart Sensor. The reader will automatically take and display the RH and temperature readings from the concrete.
  • The Total Reader will also measure and display ambient temperature and humidity simultaneously.
  • The readings will be automatically transmitted to the DataMaster™ L6 app.
• Record Data: Use the DataMaster™ L6 app to log readings, add notes, and create reports. The included floor map can be used to document the location of each sensor.
• Remove Sensors: Once testing is complete, remove the Smart Sensors from the holes.
• Seal Holes (Optional): The stainless steel covers can be used to provide additional protection for the holes if future testing is anticipated or for aesthetic purposes.
