Gransfors Bruk Hunter’s Axe
Gransfors Bruk Hunter’s Axe is the first and only axe to win an award from the Swedish Society of Crafts & Design. It’s a beautiful, well-balanced tool with a curved face, a thin head and gently rounded poll. The handle’s lower half is textured for good grip (it looks as if it were peeled by beaver’s teeth). The tight-grained hickory handle is 19″ long; face is 3-1/4″ wide; head weighs 1-1/2 lbs. The axe is provided with a grain-leather sheath with snap fastener.
