2. Install the Pressure Sensor: Identify the appropriate port on your engine’s oil system for installing the pressure sensor. Thread the included 100 psi pressure sensor into this port, ensuring it is tightened securely to prevent leaks.
3. Connect the Pressure Sensor Wiring: Connect the 3-wire cable from the pressure sensor to the corresponding terminals on the back of the oil pressure gauge. Refer to the wiring diagram provided with the gauge for correct connections.
4. Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Attach the 3 ft power & lighting harness to the designated terminals on the back of the gauge. Connect the power wire to a suitable 12V power source in your vehicle’s electrical system. Connect the ground wire to a reliable ground point. If your gauge features LED backlighting, connect the lighting wire to your vehicle’s lighting circuit if desired.
