HOW TO USE:

1. Opening with Emerson Wave Feature: Grip the knife with the pocket clip facing away from you. As you pull the knife out of your pocket, ensure the small “wave” protrusion on the spine of the blade catches the edge of your pocket. Continue pulling the knife out, and the blade will deploy automatically.
2. Opening with Thumb Disk: Grasp the handle securely. Place your thumb on the textured disk located on the blade. Apply outward pressure with your thumb to push the blade open until the frame lock engages.
3. Secure Grip: Once the blade is open and locked, position your hand comfortably around the G10 handle, utilizing its contoured shape for a firm and secure grip.
4. Cutting: Apply appropriate pressure to the object being cut. The knife’s plain edge and blade shape are effective for slicing, push cuts, and general utility.
5. Closing the Blade: With a firm grip on the handle, use your thumb to push the frame lock bar (the part of the handle that extends behind the blade) sideways, disengaging it from the blade’s tang. Carefully fold the blade back into the handle well, ensuring your fingers are clear of the closing path.
6. Carrying: Utilize the reversible pocket clip to secure the knife in your pocket for tip-up carry. Adjust the clip position if desired to suit left or right-handed carry.
