10″ 3 Jaw Plain Back Zero Set Lathe Chuck (3900-4580) ~ Run true “0” set. ~ Semi-steel body. ~ Chuck body is made of high quality cast iron. ~ All guide ways and bearing surfaces are precisely machined. ~ Scroll plate is drop forged of fine alloy steel and carefully case hardened. ~ Thread flanks are ground on both sides. ~ The jaws teeth and guide ways are hardened and fully ground on both sides. ~ Pinions are also hardened and ground. ~ Hardened and ground to the highest T.I.R. with 0.0005″ repeatability on duplicate parts. ~ 2 piece top jaws can be reversed for clamping and jamming. ~ Provides increased gripping force with less jaw distortion. ~ Opposing adjusting screws for “dead true” accuracy. ~ Fine adjustment. ~ 6 M12 mounting screws are included. ~ Maximum RPM is 2,700. Run true “0” set. Made of high grade tool steel. Hardened and ground to the highest T.I.R. with 0.0005″ repeatability on duplicate parts. 2 piece top jaws can be reversed for clamping and jamming. Provides increased gripping force with less jaw distortion.
