Veritas Magnetic Saw Guide
The Veritas Magnetic Saw Guide come in 8″ and 14″ widths. These anodized aluminum magnetic guides helps to keep a saw square to the wood. They are especially beneficial for cutting tenon shoulders and cutting an accurate edge of a dado.
The Veritas Magnetic Saw Guide can be held against the workpiece either by hand or secured with clamps (not included). The registration surface is about 1 1/4″ tall, which helps maintain accuracy throughout the cut. The face of the saw guide has three embedded 1/2″ dia. rare-earth magnets which are covered with low-friction UHMW tape to provide a smooth sliding surface. The bottom of the guide has two high-friction strips to help prevent the guide from slipping.
