Description
The Blackstone Silicon wheel is used for shaping and sharpening high speed steel (HSS) and other exotic alloyed steels. It can also touch up tungsten carbide. It does not offer faster steel removal on ordinary carbon steel than the Tormek Original Grindstone.
You can use the SP650 Tormek Stone grader to alter the 220 grit of the Blackstone Silicon wheel to 1000 grit, just like you do with Tormek’s original grindstone.
This stone fits all 10″ Tormek sharpeners including T-8, T-7, 2006, 2004 & 2000.
