Nordic Pure 14x24x1PM8C-6 Furnace Air Filters MERV 8 Pleated Plus Carbon 6 Pack – 14x24x1 are made of dual-layer media combining MERV 8 rated material fused with an activated carbon layer. These filters help eliminate unwanted odors while trapping airborne dust and particulate matter for fresh, clean air. Odorous gases and VOCs are attracted to and held by the activated carbon, all while maintaining excellent airflow. Manufactured with a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame and reinforced with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats, these filters ensure durability and reliable performance. The permanently electrostatically charged media acts like a magnet to capture dust particles. Nordic Pure MERV 8 Plus Carbon filters are comparable to MPR 800 rated filters.
