Description
The Race Ramps Rear Trailer Mate Ramps (RR-TM-REAR) are specifically engineered to provide a smooth and secure solution for loading and securing low-ground-clearance vehicles within a trailer. These ramps address common challenges such as scraping front bumpers, limited access to tie-down points, and difficulty opening car doors over trailer wheel wells. By elevating your vehicle an additional 3 inches, the Trailer Mates create the necessary space for efficient and damage-free transport preparation.
KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
- Increased Access: Adds 3 inches of ground clearance, making tie-down points more accessible and allowing car doors to clear trailer wheel wells.
- Vehicle Stability: Features a unique concave depression designed to help keep the vehicle from rolling during transport, providing peace of mind on the road.
- Gentle Approach: Provides a 10.9-degree approach angle, ensuring smooth and safe loading for low-profile cars without scraping the undercarriage or front bumper.
- Lightweight Construction: Made from 100% solid, high-density foam, each ramp weighs only 5 lbs, making them easy to position, remove, and store.
- Damage Prevention: Engineered with an anti-slip coating that protects trailer floors from scuffs, marks, or skidding.
- High Load Capacity: Each ramp can support up to 1,500 pounds, accommodating a total vehicle weight of up to 6,000 pounds when used as a pair.

HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure your trailer is parked on a flat, stable surface with the parking brake engaged. Inspect the ramps for any damage before use.
- Positioning: Place one Race Ramp Rear Trailer Mate directly in line with each of your vehicle’s rear tires. Ensure the ramp’s incline is facing the tire and the steering wheel of your vehicle is straight.
- Loading: Slowly and carefully drive your low-profile vehicle up the ramps until the rear tires are fully positioned on the concave depression of the ramps.
- Securing: Once the vehicle is properly positioned on the ramps, turn off the engine, engage the parking brake, and apply additional wheel chocks to any wheels still on the ground for maximum stability. Proceed with securing your vehicle using appropriate tie-down straps.
- Unloading (Reversal): When unloading, disengage tie-downs and remove any additional wheel chocks. Slowly and cautiously drive the vehicle backward off the ramps, ensuring controlled descent to prevent any vehicle bodywork from contacting the ramps or ground.
