Mueller Championship Axe

The Mueller Championship Axe is a serious chopping axe.The head weighs nearly 4 lbs. (overall axe weight is 7.1 lbs.) This provides plenty of inertia for making deep incisions when felling trees.The cutting edge is 6-3/4″ wide for making big chips fly.The head measures 8-1/2″ deep from the pol to the front edge.The 31-1/2″hickory handle is extra wide where it enters the ax head for added strength and has a strong knob flare to help you keep your grip steady when you swing for the fence.

You may find that all species of trees “quake”” when you walk into the forest holding this axe, not just the aspens!Please understand that you don’t have to own a blue ox to appreciate this axe, but after using it a while, don’t blame us if you join the lumberjack competition circuit.

Versions

We offer this Championship Axe in two versions. They are functionally the same, but look different

• The
  Biber Classicversion has the black, rough-forged steel finish with an oiled hickory handle stamped Biber Classic and includes a leather sheath.
• The
  Mueller standardversion is ground after forging. The head has a brushed steel finish and the handle is varnished with a red end.It comes with am edge guard.
