HOW TO USE:

• Open the Cabinet: Quickly access the AED by opening the clear front panel of the wall cabinet.
• Power On: Turn on the LIFEPAK CR2 AED. The device will begin providing voice prompts.
• Apply Electrodes: Peel the QUIK-STEP™ electrodes from their base and apply them to the patient’s bare chest as indicated by the visual diagrams on the electrodes.
• Follow Prompts: The AED will analyze the patient’s heart rhythm. Follow the ClearVoice™ prompts, which will guide you through the process, including CPR instructions and shock delivery.
• Deliver Shock (if advised): If a shock is advised, ensure no one is touching the patient and press the shock button.
• Perform CPR (if advised): If CPR is required, follow the metronome and CPR coaching prompts provided by the AED.
• Continue: Continue following the AED’s prompts until emergency services arrive.
