Detail Sanding Kit – Finishing
This detail sanding kit is an ideal solution for very fine sanding into corners,up to the edge of adjacent surfaces, and just about anywhereelse ordinary sanding tools are too bulky to address.
The kit includes four 6″ x 1/4″ plastic holders along with an assortment of 1/4″-wide circularsandpaper strips that fit snugly around the length of each of the spring-tensionedsanding stick holders. These sandpaper loops appear similar to miniature sanding belts,but you only rotate them a short distance by hand each time you need to expose anew section of sandpaper. The holders have a flat face, an angled face, a reasonablysharp tip, and a rounded end, allowing you to efficiently apply abrasive exactly where it’s needed.
In addition to the 4 plastic holders, the kit comes with 5 each of 4 different grits ofsandpaper strips (240, 320, 400 and 600). The holders and sanding strips are color-coded tohelp you differentiate the grits. Replacement belts are available in packs of 5.
