The Base Adapter is used to make guided cuts with theFestool Carvex Jig Saws . For precise, straight cuts, the Base Adapter slides on any of the Festool Guide Rails. Guide Rail cuts work best with Festool FSG blades like theS75/4 FSG ,S105/4 FSG orS 145/4 FSG .
For circles or arcs, the base adapter is used with theCircle Cutter .
