Freud SD208S Pro Dado Set 8 Inch

The Freud SD208 8 inch Professional Dado Set has two 12-tooth negative-hook outside cutters and three 2-tooth chippers. It uses Freud’s TiCo HI-Density Carbide for excellent performance and silver I.C.E. coating to prevent pitch build-up and blade overheating.

The Pro Dado cuts very cleanly with or across the grain, delivering flat-bottomed dados from 1/4″ to 7/8″ wide.Widths can be customized with a set of steel shims included as standard equipment.

SD 208S SawStop-compatible Pro Dadois precisely 8″ in diameter and does not have anti-kickback teeth.It is compatible with and recommended for all models of SawStop table saw. (While it’s optimized for use on SawStop saws, the SD208S can be used on any 10″ table saw.)

To use a dado set up, you will typically need another throat plate for the dado blade to cut into (instead of your existing throat plate).
