Our bits are made specifically to work with the Leigh Dovetail jigs. They are made to the same specifications as Leigh’s bits. We have found them to be well-balanced, smooth-running bits that do their job without fuss. The degree of finish is impressive: brazes are clean, and the C2 carbide tips are polished to 600 grit. We guarantee that you’ll be completely satisfied.

The thickness of the jig template requires a longer shank. Therefore, we recommend using the 8mm shank bits over the 1/4″ shank bits because the increased shank diameter offers 60% more shaft strength.
