Description
Lynx Two Man Crosscut Log Saw
Thomas Flinn & Company’s Lynx Two Man Crosscut saws are made for cutting logs and large beams. The 1/16″ thick steel blades have large aggressive teeth. The big 13-3/4″ x 1-3/16″ beech handles provide plenty of grip to drive the saw through large logs. Whether you’re rough milling lumber or cutting firewood, you’ll make quick work and get a little exercise with these saws.
Saw Teeth
Peg (Plain) Tooth
Both saws use a Plain Tooth pattern(also known as peg tooth) with 1.5tpi (2 ppi). The teeth are hammer set and sharpened by hand. The teeth are sharpened to cut on the pull stroke in both directions. The teeth can be re-sharpened with ourCant Saw File.
Sizing
We recommend you use a saw that is twice as long as the size of the stock you are cutting so you will have sufficient stroke to cut efficiently.
