Mueller Dynam-Ax Splitting Axe
This award-winning design innovation came about as a remedy for reducing the jarring impact that results when your axe blow is not accurately delivered while splitting wood. The Dynam-Ax has a unique handle-to-ax-head connection (using a pivot point and cushioning material) that dampens the vibration effect of the inevitable “missed the-mark swing”. The lower part of the handle housing also gives protection to the handle against breakage. The 5-1/2 lb. head/handle housing is forged as one piece. The head has the same tapered and flared sides as the classic Mueller splitting axe to optimize the splitting action. A hickory handle with non-slip coating gives a sure grip. Cutting edge width is 3-15/16″.Overall length is 33-1/4″.
All Mueller axes are hand-forged in Austria.
