Nordic Pure 10x10x1M14+C-12 Pleated Air Filters MERV 14 Plus Carbon 12 Pack – 10x10x1 are made from electrostatically charged synthetic materials with an added flat panel infused with activated charcoal. These filters capture most airborne particulates while eliminating unwanted odors in your home or office. The activated carbon attracts odorous gases and VOC vapors while maintaining excellent airflow. The permanently electrostatically charged media acts like a magnet to trap dust, and the anti-microbial filter media prevents bacteria and mold growth, promoting a healthier environment. Rated comparable to MPR 2800, these MERV 14 Plus Carbon filters provide high filtration efficiency. Due to their high filtration level and airflow restriction, these filters are best suited for HVAC systems rated to handle MERV 14 or higher. They work well with newer, high-efficiency systems that use HEPA filters. We recommend changing the filter every 30-90 days to maintain peak performance and efficiency.
