Nordic Pure 14x18x1M14+C-6 Pleated Air Filters MERV 14 Plus Carbon 6 Pack – 14x18x1 are made of electrostatically charged synthetic media combined with a flat panel infused with activated charcoal. This design effectively traps airborne dust, particulate matter, and eliminates unwanted odors for fresher, cleaner indoor air. The activated carbon layer attracts and holds odorous gases and VOCs while maintaining excellent airflow. The anti-microbial filter media inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold, promoting a healthier environment. These MERV 14 Plus Carbon filters are comparable to MPR 2800 rated filters and are ideal for high-efficiency HVAC systems capable of handling higher airflow resistance, including those designed for HEPA-level filtration. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the filter every 30–90 days.
