Nordic Pure 16x25x1PM8C-2 Furnace Air Filters MERV 8 Pleated Plus Carbon 2 Pack – 16x25x1 feature a dual-material design where MERV 8 rated filtration media is fused with an activated carbon layer to eliminate odors and trap airborne dust and particulates for cleaner indoor air. The activated carbon attracts and holds odorous gases and VOCs (volatile organic compounds) while maintaining excellent airflow. These pleated air filters are constructed with a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame and reinforced with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for added durability. The permanently electrostatically charged media acts like a magnet to capture dust efficiently. Comparable to filters rated MPR 800, these high-performance air filters help maintain HVAC efficiency and indoor air quality. Replacement every 30–90 days is recommended to ensure maximum performance and economy.
