The Versa-Mount™ Universal Mounting System from OneWay makes changing lathe accessories simple and easy. This system allows you to easily exchange accessories on one lathe or move accessories among multiple lathes with different spindle thread sizes!
Versa-Mount Faceplate Rings
The Versa-Mount Faceplate Rings are designed to be used with theVersa-Mount Coupling. The Faceplate Ring is fastened to the work piece/blank with screws. Three bolts on the back of the ring are guided into the three key-holes on the coupling, rotated 1/8 turn counterclockwise, tightened with a wrench and you are ready to go!
The Faceplate Rings allow you to remove and re-mount large blanks of wood with ease. No more struggling to thread the faceplate onto the spindle, which can be difficult depending on the size and weight of the attached blank.The risk of accidentally cross-threading is eliminated! For those with lathes of different spindle sizes, multiple Couplings can be fitted on different lathes to accept all various Faceplate Rings in use. This makes this system ideal for a classroom setting.
Faceplate Rings are powder coated and available in 4 inch, 5 inch and 6 inch sizes.
Versa-Mount Faceplate Rings require aVersa-Mount Coupling.
