Now featuring ArmorGlide Technology for low-friction, rust-resistant performance, the Powermatic PJ-882HHT 8-Inch Parallelogram Jointer combines advanced features with exceptional value. The helical cutterhead, equipped with 54 four-sided knife inserts, delivers a superior finish and operates much more quietly than traditional cutterheads. These inserts require no adjustment once installed, adding to their convenience.
With an extended 82-inch bed, this jointer provides enhanced support for larger workpieces. Its innovative single-handwheel design allows easy fence tilting, with positive stops at +/- 45° and 90°. A non-marring insert on the fence prevents surface scratches during adjustments.
The parallelogram design keeps the table close to the cutterhead for an improved finish and allows for quick depth adjustments. This structure also ensures the table remains perfectly parallel, even after years of heavy use.
Powered by a fully enclosed 2-HP motor within a heavy-duty steel stand, this jointer delivers ample power and stability for demanding tasks.
