With meticulously ground cast iron bodies & a textured matte black finish, these squares are outfitted with machined (not stamped), easy to read,satin-chrome blades. Blade markings are in 1/16ths, 1/8ths, 1/32nds & 1/64ths of an inch & are etched into the blade for durability & legibility.The knurled thumb wheels are comfortably sized for easy locking & releasing of the sliding blade. These are a nice upgrade from home center combo squares. So if you need a decent job site tool, but wish to keep your Starrett tools safely in the shop, these squares will fill the bill nicely.

The 6″ Combination Square’s 90&deg/45° head measures 2-7/8″ long x 1-3/8″ high and includes a bubble level & screw-in scribe pin. The center head measures 3″ x 2-1/2″ and can center on an object up to 2-5/8″. The square comes in a padded plastic case.
