Primus Improved Smooth Plane
The Primus Improved Smooth Plane, in addition to the fine iron adjustment mechanism, has a moveable shoe in the sole for adjusting the size of the throat. This increases the capacity for smoother, fine cuts on difficult grain.
The 8-7/8″ long body is cherry with a lignum vitae sole.Iron width is 1-7/8″. An all-steel mechanism adjusts the position and tension on the cutter.
