The Record Power SC3 Chuck Package is a serious lathe chuck at a great price, and makes a great starter chuck.
It comes with the most popular size jaws, a faceplate ring and a woodworm screw for mounting your workpieces. It’s packed in a fitted plastic case, and is operated using a convenient chuck key.
Please choose the spindle size of your lathe above. This chuck is only available in the three spindle sizes listed. No other sizes are available.

- Woodworm Screw — mounts in the jaws of the chuck converting it into a screw chuck with exceptional holding power.
- 50mm (2″) Standard Jaws — the most commonly used jaws size. External Gripping Capacity: 1-3/4″ – 2-1/2″. Internal Gripping Capacity: 2″ – 2-3/4″.
- 50mm (2″) Faceplate Ring — The faceplate ring is screwed to the workpiece similar to a faceplate, but then is gripped by the SC3 chuck using the 50mm standard jaws.The overall diameter of the ring is 3-3/8″.
