SawStop Sliding Crosscut Table
The SawStop Sliding Crosscut Table is designed to allow you to easily make repeatablyaccurate crosscuts in sheet goods and other workpieces. With 55″ of travel, itwill handle crosscuts up to 48″ deep. It can be installed onthe SawStop Contractor Saw, Professional Cabinet Saw and the Industrial Cabinet Sawutilizing pre-drilled mounting holes.
This is a nice heavy duty accessory, made of exceptionally strong T-6 aircraft-gradealuminum with multiple large bearings that allow smooth travel even under a heavy load.Micro-adjustments can easily be tuned to allow for smoothness and exact parallelism.
The 43″-long aluminum fence extrusion is 15% larger than what’s found on most otherafter-market sliding tables. A single knob controls the angle adjustment of the miterguide up to plus-or-minus 60°. The fence can be placed anywhere along the length ofthe sliding table, and its position easily adjusted in relation to the blade. Large flipstops are included, and magnifying lenses make it easy to position them along the graduatedscale for accurate, repeatable cuts.
Rail Cutting – VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
To install this product, the front and rear fence rails on your saw will need to be cut to the appropriate length. There are two ways this can be done:
- Follow the instructions in the Owners Manual and cut the rails yourself.
- Contact a local machine shop and have the rails cut professionally.
