HOW TO USE:

1. Installation: Suspend the SludgeBoss float switch inside the tank above the desired low water level where the pump should turn off. The self-orienting design means no specific tethering is required; the float will hang freely.
2. Pump Connection: Plug your 120V pump into the piggyback plug on the SludgeBoss float switch.
3. Power Connection: Plug the SludgeBoss’s power cord into a grounded 120V GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected receptacle.
4. Operation (Emptying Application): As the water level rises, the SludgeBoss float will pivot upwards. When the water reaches a level approximately 6-8 inches above the point where the float is hanging, the internal switch will activate, turning the pump on.
5. Pump Deactivation: As the pump removes water and the level drops, the SludgeBoss float will pivot downwards. Once the water level falls approximately 6-8 inches below the activation point, the internal switch will deactivate, turning the pump off.
