HOW TO USE:

1. Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2.05 inch (52mm) diameter opening in your vehicle’s dashboard or instrument panel. Insert the gauge into the opening and secure it using the provided spin-lock ring.
2. Connect the Wiring Harness (2-Wire Cable): Connect one wire of the 2-wire cable to the signal output wire from your fuel level sensor. Connect the other wire to a suitable ground point in your vehicle’s electrical system.
3. Connect the Power & Lighting Harness: Connect the power wire (typically red) from the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a switched 12V power source in your vehicle. Connect the ground wire (typically black) to a reliable ground point. If your gauge features LED illumination, connect the lighting wire (often orange or blue) to your vehicle’s lighting circuit so the gauge illuminates with your other lights.
4. Program the Gauge (if necessary): Using the provided Gauge Programming Button and following the manufacturer’s instructions, program the gauge to correctly read the resistance range of your specific fuel level sensor. This may involve setting low and high resistance values corresponding to empty and full tank levels.
5. Test the Gauge: Once all connections are made and the gauge is programmed, turn on your vehicle’s ignition. The fuel level gauge should now indicate the approximate level of fuel in your tank. Add or remove fuel to verify the gauge’s accuracy across its range.
