This package is ideal for users who already own the Total Reader® and require additional Smart Sensors to continue accurate and reliable moisture measurements in concrete slabs. Each of the five included L6 Smart Sensors is factory calibrated using advanced CMOSens® technology, ensuring precise readings right out of the box. To guarantee the integrity of the calibration, each pack is delivered in tamper-resistant packaging and includes a NIST-traceable calibration certificate.

HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Concrete Slab: Drill holes in the concrete slab according to the ASTM F2170 standard, ensuring the correct depth and spacing.
- Insert the Extension: Attach an extension to an L6 Smart Sensor.
- Place the Sensor: Insert the Smart Sensor with the attached extension into the drilled hole, ensuring it is positioned at the correct depth within the concrete.
- Cover the Hole: Place a protective cap with a rubber plug and butyl gasket over the hole to seal it. Secure the stainless steel cover over the cap.
- Acclimation Period: Allow the sensor to acclimate to the environment within the concrete for the time specified in the ASTM F2170 standard (typically 24 hours).
- Take Readings: Use the Rapid RH® Total Reader® or the DataMaster™ L6 app to wirelessly connect to the Smart Sensor via Bluetooth® and take humidity and temperature readings.
- Record Data: The sensor can store up to 512 time-stamped measurements. You can download this data using the Total Reader® or the app for documentation and analysis.
- Post-Testing: After testing, remove the sensor and plug the hole appropriately.
