Oneway Bowl Steady

This ingenious steady adds safety and control to turning bowls, platters, or plates. Like the traditional spindle steady, its tensioned rollers counteract the tendency of thin unsupported wood to flex or whip during rotation. The Oneway Bowl Steady makes final cuts on thin bowl walls much more predictable, and lets you keep both hands out of harm’s way. Swiveling mount & baseplate allow easy adjustment with minimal loss of swing.
